MAPLETON HILL

Stately architecture and wide, tree-lined avenues make up this neighborhood’s quiet grandeur.

Welcome to Mapleton Hill

Perched on a hill overlooking the city, the enormous mature trees and historic homes of Mapleton Hill make it perfect fodder for a Rockwell painting. Residents enjoy the peaceful quiet amongst the historic homes while remaining a walk away from Pearl Street and other downtown Boulder delights.

Mapleton Hill was desirable since its inception. The beautiful views it afforded of the area and superior drainage allowed by the hill made it one of the first populated Boulder neighborhoods. Many of the Victorian and Queen Anne residences which sprung up between 1895 and 1910 are still standing today, designating the neighborhood as a historic district.

The beautiful lawns, wrap-around porches, and preservation grants offered to residents restoring their properties make the neighborhood highly sought-after. Sales in Mapleton Hill are expensive, starting at around one million. There’s a handful of converted townhomes and condominiums, but most residences are single-family homes with high listing prices.
